Summer 2020 The waiting game

When we flew out of Phoenix in January, what we did not know was the imminent threat making its way to our shores.The novel coronavirus we have come to know as Covid-19 changed everything.Borders closed,lockdown, and hourly news coverage updates tracking the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Glen and I have not been in the RV together for eight months. It sits baking in the Arizona heat, gathering dust and waiting for us to return. The question is when can we return? We stayed at home and watched all our planned trips for 2020 slide past until finally, the question turned from when we will get back to what will we find when we get there?When we stored the RV we expected to be back soon.We didn’t prepare it properly for summer heat. We didn’t cover the tires or protect the bikes. We keep limited canned goods and condiments on board.They are usually fine, but Phoenix has been especially hot this summer which will turn the inside of the RV into an oven. When we get back it may not be pretty.
