January 2019 Rubber Tramp Rendezvous in Quartzsite, Arizona.

We parked in the desert.We just pulled off the road and parked on a fairly level patch of dirt. Early morning brought a radiant sun in through the window.We stepped outside and to watch the day unfold, sitting in camp chairs,drinking tea.In due course we rode our bikes to the RV city that springs up in January to take part in the RTR. We used Glen’s birthday as an excuse to buy something useful for the RV, a Lion Safari Lithium generator.Not sure how long we would be out here. That evening, we sat in our camp chairs sipping wine and watching the sunset. We prided ourselves for surviving four days in the desert before having to find a dump station.We drove back to Phoenix, packed our carry-on bags,stored the RV and headed for the airport.Plan:back in two months.
